Rob Fuller, Partner at Nelson Hardiman, discusses the second proposed Republican healthcare bill, as well as the repercussions of the possible repeal and replace plan on KTLA 5. According to Rob, to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, would be chaos. Should the government repeal and replace, they would have to put a future date. In explaining the new Republican healthcare bill, Rob states that it is actually a tax bill. To pay for the proposed tax cut, the expansion of Medicare and Medicaid would have to be sacrificed to pay for that tax cut. The other parts of the bill deal with insurance company rules, pre-existing conditions as well as changes to the current age ban charges.
