Our client, a medical dermatology practice, received a notice of termination from a pharmacy network due to allegedly (1) filling and dispensing prescriptions against the requests or desire of patients, and (2) inventory shortages and discrepancies. Nelson Hardiman partners John Mills and Salvatore Zimmitti denied the allegations in a letter of appeal which explained the discrepancies and provided supporting evidence and documentation.

This was followed by a telephonic appeal hearing, after which, the network rescinded the termination. As a result, our client can continue to dispense medicine to its patients, a critical component of its operations.
