Health Law: The COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”) outbreak has led many healthcare providers to consider synchronous telehealth (i.e. real-time video conferencing) to enable the delivery of services in a “socially distanced” manner that is safer for both patients and providers. John’s presentation will focus on key legal issues that must be considered as providers shift to telehealth, including licensure status, patient consent, privacy, and reimbursement.
