Presentation: Telehealth Updates and Best Practices Amid COVID-19
Speakers: Kristina Sherry and Sarvnaz (Miriam) Mackin
This virtual CLE presentation will explore the shifting telehealth landscape amid COVID-19, which has prompted the need for greater flexibility in health care and enhanced access to providers. First, we will review the regulatory framework underlying telehealth in California prior to COVID-19, then we will examine the State and Federal responses to the pandemic that have relaxed several of these requirements. Lastly, we will highlight some “best practices” for telehealth during this watershed moment and consider whether some of these temporary responses to the pandemic may yield permanent change.
This program is approved for 1.0 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
